Reading Chapters 15-18 in Touching Spirit Bear practicing new coding method in our reading journals and exploring conflict and change of character in the story.

History We are finishing up Unit 1 on the 1st civilizations. The students will be making decisions as they follow traders through Babylonia and the Middle East.

Important Information Thurs 11/12 Parent Night information on Testing 6:30-7:30 *****!st Dance 7-9 this Friday NIght ! Thank you to all who came to conferences it was great to see everyone again and to set goals for your children for the 2nd quarter.

Homework 100 reading minutes signed and due Wed 11/11 Will increase to 120 for the rest of the year starting next week. Current Evetns : Early Humans due Wed 11/11

Writing New P.O.W. Prompt: To understand the kind of person Cole is in the begining of TSB and how he changes throughout the story. You need to use evidence and quotes from the story to show understanding. *We will be working on how to use quotes and sentence fluency and structure as well.
